Just because it’s a DIY that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Get into my new luxe pedestal bowl made from Dollar Tree items! The metallic gold paint added the perfect amount of chic glam.

Follow these simple 3 steps to create your own:

Glue the trifle container (candy dish) upside down to the large bowl. Be careful to make sure the container is lined perfectly in the center.

Spray paint the inside of bowl a metallic gold (or whatever color you choose).

Let dry.

Flip over and spray paint outside of bowl and pedestal black (or whatever color you choose).

Fill bowl with faux plants, artificial fruit, potpourri or decorative fillers.
